Ana Arcos

📍Bizkaia, Spain

My name is Ana, and I’ve always felt a deep connection to art. Ever since I was a child, I loved experimenting with all kinds of painting techniques, which eventually led me to study Fine Arts. After finishing my degree, I discovered tattooing as a way to keep doing what I was passionate about while also making a living from it.I’ve been tattooing for about 25 years now, and I have to admit that the early days were quite tough. Back then, hardly anyone shared information, learning was difficult, and there were very few shops that sold tattoo supplies.Over the years, I’ve grown within this industry, always seeking to improve and evolve. I’ve had many influences and inspirations in the world of tattooing, but if I had to highlight a few names, they would definitely be Laura Juan, Max Gosthar, Thomas Carli Jarlier, and Andrei Stepanov.

Regarding my work as a tattoo artist, after exploring various styles, I discovered that realism is the one I identify with the most. It’s the style that has allowed me to connect emotionally with my clients and convey something deeper through the skin.In my artistic work, I’ve also experimented with different techniques, and lately I’m especially drawn to blending styles and textures—always with portraiture as the central focus. The human face fascinates me as a powerful means of expression. As for events, I usually take part in various conventions, particularly in France, where I’ve had the satisfaction of receiving several awards and even winning a few poster design competitions.
