Alessandro Maccheroni

📍Venaria reale, Torino, Italy

My name is Alessandro Maccheroni, a self-taught tattoo artist whose journey began through challenges and determination. At the beginning, I didn’t even have a tattoo myself, nor did I know how to assemble a machine — but curiosity and the desire to learn pushed me to overcome every obstacle. My passion was born in the basement of my home in Venaria Reale, a small space that became the place where I began experimenting, studying, and shaping my own style. Over time, that early enthusiasm transformed into a professional path, driven by the desire to tell stories through skin and to grow continuously within the tattoo world.

My style is black and gray, a technique that has always fascinated me for its ability to bring depth and naturalness to portraits, animals, and flowers. Seeing a subject take form on the skin gives me a unique sense of satisfaction — a feeling no other style has ever been able to offer. For the first four years, tattooing was just a hobby, but for the past six years I have devoted myself to it seriously. I have been working in realism for three years, the same amount of time since opening my own studio, which I manage and where other artists also work. It is an important milestone, but the artistic level I aspire to is still ahead of me — and I work every day to reach it.
