My name is Alex, and I am a self-taught tattoo artist from Ypres, Belgium. I have been tattooing for five years, but my passion for drawing started in childhood. Animals have always been my biggest inspiration. About ten years ago, I faced a life-threatening illness and spent months in the hospital fighting for my life. During that time, I promised myself that if I survived, I would dedicate my future to my passion: drawing and creating. Three years ago, I opened my own private tattoo studio, where I continue to grow as an artist. For me, tattooing is not just about technique—it is about offering people a complete and meaning ful experience.

My work is straightforward and true to my passion: photorealism, with a special focus on animals. Most of my tattoos are black and grey, capturing the depth, texture, and emotion of every detail. Clients often travel long distances to have me create portraits of their dogs or other beloved animals, which is an honor I never take for granted. As an artist, I am always growing, and my next step is to explore full color realism. My greatest ambition is to become internationally recognized for my animal realism. My life motto is simple: “Magic is believing in yourself; if you can do that, you can make anything happen.”
