Alia Fadaly is a Cairo-based Egyptian tattoo artist with over 15 years of experience. She began her journey in tattooing in Egypt, where she developed her skills through dedication, self-driven learning, and continuous practice in a field that was largely unaccepted at the time. Inspired by art, detail, and storytelling, tattooing became her way of expressing identity and emotion. Growing up and studying in Cairo shaped her discipline and artistic foundation, while years of perseverance allowed her to transform passion into profession. Her early path required resilience and belief in her vision, laying the groundwork for a career that would later expand internationally.

Alia Fadaly’s work is defined by fine line, microrealism, and calligraphic tattooing, combining technical precision with refined detail. She has participated in major tattoo conventions across Europe and the United States, winning Best of Fine Line multiple times. Her practice also includes custom Arabic calligraphy and original lettering, with fonts designed specifically for tattoo application. She was named among the world’s top tattoo artists by CoCreate. In Egypt, she made history as the first female tattoo artist to be officially licensed and recognized by the government, establishing the country’s first legally licensed tattoo studio.
