Andrés Hernández

Barcelona, Spain

I was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Although I don’t come from a family of painters, my mother encouraged me from a young age to explore painting and visual creativity. What started as a hobby turned into a passion, and I found tattooing to be the ideal medium to bring ideas and stories to life on the skin.

My training has been primarily self-taught; I learned through constant practice, experimentation, and observing other artists, developing a personal style that combines color realism and surrealism. With every piece, I seek to convey emotions and create a unique mark on those who trust my work. A few years ago, I moved to Barcelona, Spain, where I have expanded my professional horizons and enriched my artistic vision.

I grew up in the El Trigal neighborhood in my hometown, a place where my roots and part of my artistic identity were born. Since I was a child, drawing was my refuge and my way of understanding the world; over time, it became my primary form of expression. My father was the one who pushed me into the world of tattooing, gifting me my first machines and placing full trust in my talent.

In 2017, I moved to Bogotá, Colombia, a key city for my artistic growth. There, I experimented with different styles until I found my own identity. Today, I specialize in color realism and surrealism, merging technique and imagination to create authentic pieces. While I haven’t participated in events or competitions yet, it is a goal I have in my immediate sights.
