My name is Andrea Parisi, though over time people began to call me Delicato. I am 25 years old and I live in Turin, Italy, yet I often struggle to call it home — perhaps it is this very sense of displacement that quietly shapes my work. I am drawn to the wind, to ancient objects, to whispered words, and to everything that holds the rare ability to suspend time.I am a self-taught tattoo artist, with a background in concept art and a strong influence from cinema.I am aware that what art truly needs to capture lies nowhere else than in the people you meet along the road.Experience, for me, is like a sandwich filled with stories and hints from strangers; this is how I come to know myself, and how I learned to listen in order to create.

My “romantic” style is the language through which I translate the visions and emotions of those who place their trust in me, often expressed through dotwork.Travel is an essential part of my creative and personal evolution; among my most recent guest spots are Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, Valencia, and beyond.In Turin I work at 24 Tattoo studio, and that place really feels like home.My goal is to give a voice to a still image, by exploring the deep cave of memories and nostalgia that hides inside all of us, that’s why comunication is the first big step in my creation process.
