Leini, Turin, Italy

Born and raised in Italy, I started tattooing at 26, shortly after graduating in Fashion Design. I realized that was not meant for me and that I wanted to give significant meaning to my life. I have always had a strong connection with drawing and art, and tattooing became the way to turn that into something real. I’m self-taught, as I have developed my skills through constant practice and personal research. At 35 years-old I’m now the proud owner of Djanga Tattoo Studio, located in the province of Turin in northern Italy. Here, I keep on growing both artistically and professionally, approaching each tattoo as a step in my journey.

Starting from the niche style of Trash-Polka, I work with a hands-on approach, using many styles, from fine-line microrealism, soft-shading, built-in with liner needles, to the more traditional black-and-grey realism. I like to adapt each design to the client, working closely with them so that the tattoo is going to fit both their idea and their body. This allows me to give to the client a clear and balanced composition. I pay close attention to details, flow and readability. My goal is to create tattoos that are not only visually strong, but that also maintain their meaning and value over time.
