Milano, Italy
My name is Federica Losito, and I’m a tattoo artist originally from southern Italy.
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been fascinated by art, especially drawing. I remember my father creating caricatures based on a photo of his face, transforming it into imaginary characters: a game that sparked a desire to create within me as well.
So I began drawing as a self-taught artist, initially just for fun, without knowing where it would lead me.
Over time, I realized how much the people around me influenced my journey: they saw a potential that I still couldn’t recognize.
From drawing to the moment I picked up the tattoo machine for the first time, it all came about thanks to those who believed in me.
My career as a tattoo artist began fifteen years ago with Michael Mazzone, who welcomed me into his studio when I was just a shy, timid little girl.
Those three years were essential for my development, both personally and professionally.
During that time, I discovered tattooing as a means of healing and the role of the tattoo artist as a bridge between the design and the client’s story.
For me, tattooing is a way to help others.
The Dynamic Balance of nature is at the heart of my work: it arises from change, transformation, and the ability to regenerate, just as it does in human beings. Bold designs speak of resilience, while light shades reveal vulnerability.
