Luleå, Sweden
I am a tattoo artist originally from Italy, now based in Swedish Lapland. My artistic journey began at an early age and was strongly influenced by the works of classical masters, whose approach to composition, light, and color still shapes my visual language today. Although I entered the tattoo industry later in life, at the age of 30, drawing and visual exploration have always been a constant presence in my path. I started as a self-taught artist, developing my skills through years of dedicated practice and experimentation. Today, my work focuses on color realism, transforming natural subjects into vibrant tattoos designed to live and evolve on the skin, while always respecting each client’s individuality and personal story.
I am Johnny Coffee, a tattoo artist based in Luleå, currently working at Blessedink Tattoo. With four years of experience, I specialize in color realism, focusing on animals and floral compositions. My work is centered on flow, placement, and the interaction between subject and body, creating pieces that feel organic and alive. I am drawn to rich color palettes, contrast, and depth, using them to enhance visual impact. While my primary direction is realism, I also explore different stylistic influences when they align with client requests, always maintaining a strong focus on composition and harmony. In September 2025, I placed 3rd in the Best of Color category at HCA Ink in Denmark, marking an early milestone in an evolving artistic journey.
