My name is Mari and I am from Kolín, Czech Republic. I have been tattooing professionally for 13 years. My journey started very early – at the age of 14, I already knew that one day I would open my own tattoo studio. As a self-taught artist, I began with a handmade tattoo machine built from a small motor taken from a toy car track, gradually discovering my passion for creating. The desire to create kept pushing me forward. Later, I completed a professional tattoo course, and in 2013 I fulfilled my dream by opening my own studio, Mari Tattoo. In 2023, together with my wife, we opened a new studio, Mari & Tali Tattoo-Piercing, where we create and work side by side.

In my work, I don’t limit myself to a single style – I enjoy combining different styles and exploring new ways to connect the client’s vision with my own artistic expression. I especially love moments when a client gives me creative freedom, allowing me to design something truly unique that reflects both their story and my personal style. Tattooing is not just a profession for me, but a form of self-expression and a constant source of inspiration. Throughout my career, I have received several awards at tattoo conventions. Together with my wife, I run our studio in Kolín, where we aim to create a space full of creativity, trust, and an individual approach to every client.
