Hi, I’m Michelle Wirtgen, also known as Miss Mortis Tattoo.

My tattoo career began in 2018. Back then, I learned a lot from my mentor, but I also found plenty of inspiration through other artists, music, and movies. From a young age, I’ve always had a fascination with art, so I thought—why not become a tattoo artist?

Over the years, I’ve tried a lot to find the style that I truly enjoy. For a few years now, I’ve had my own small but lovely private studio. I love the peace and quiet and the fact that I can fully express myself there.

I would describe my style as versatile. I especially love tattooing animals & fantasy subjects in color, but also creepy illustrations in a dark neotraditional style. Bold lines combined with fine details and strong contrasts are a big part of my work. Despite all of this, I always want to keep evolving and I’m always open to trying new things that further refine my style.
