I’m Pepe Lopes, from Cheb in the Czech Republic. My journey into tattooing was carved by the streets, graffiti, and the pulse of urban life, shaping the way I see and create. Before tattooing full time, I worked as a piercer while refining my drawings and exploring my own style. Around twenty‑six, a mentor noticed my sketches and nudged me to bring them to skin — a moment that changed everything. Guided in the fundamentals by experienced artists, I taught myself the rest, letting curiosity and street culture lead the way. Tattooed people, cityscapes, and the rhythm of the streets continue to inspire how I work and evolve.

I work primarily in realistic, color, neo‑traditional, and new school styles (if the client gives me free rein), often blending them into compositions that balance bold lines with delicate movement. I co‑own Rope Ink, a studio I opened in Cheb in 2025, and I guest tattoo regularly in Germany, carrying the energy of different cities into my work. Conventions in Germany and the Czech Republic, including Weiden, Olomouc, and Prague, have given me opportunities to test my limits and connect with fellow artists. Beyond tattooing, I stay immersed in street art, community projects, and workshops, letting every experience — from graffiti walls to skate events — feed the evolution of my designs and ideas.
