From a young age I had a passion for drawing and painting.
Later on in life this turned to tattoo art mainly I think because of my father’s traditional tattoos, they always interested me.
Loved looking through tattoo magazines reading about all the great artists thinking wouldn’t it be amazing to do this.
So decided to get my first (legal) tattoo haha. It was after this it got me thinking why can’t I do this, can’t be that difficult right...wrong. Atter constant failed attempts at getting an apprenticeship I started reading everything and anything tattoo related and worked on my portfolio.
Eventually learning myself needle making. Coil and machine building finally resulting in securing an apprenticeship.
My style is mainly black and grey although I sometimes like adding a little colour depending on the design and clients preference. I’m open to pretty much anything black and grey but prefer to tattoo portraits. Family portraits are great to do but it’s always more fun working on movie characters particularly horror and dark art. I’m mostly self taught and it’s been a long road to get where i am so I’m always open to trying new techniques and products to improve the quality of my work. I’ve recently just become a pro team artist at tattoo boutique so I’m excited to collaborate with other members and share experiences hopefully leading to some conventions in the future.
