Certified Artist 2026
Graphic Precision & Velvety Dotwork
Interview
How did you first get into tattooing, and when did you know it was your path?
I come from a small village where high-level tattooing simply didn’t exist. The moment that changed everything was when someone arrived with truly high-quality tattoos. Until then, I had only seen very basic work. Seeing strong tattoos in real life completely shifted my perspective and inspired me deeply.
From that point, I was constantly drawing — creating tattoo-like sketches and even designing on classmates’ skin with a pen, experimenting with placement and flow as if they were real tattoos.
What were the key steps in your development as an artist?
After school, I couldn’t afford to start tattooing immediately. I studied and worked a regular job for several years, but eventually realized I didn’t want to live that way. I sold my PlayStation to buy my first tattoo machine.
My path was largely self-taught. I spent years researching, watching, and analyzing strong artists online. Since there were no mentors in my city at the level I aspired to, self-education and constant practice became my foundation. In 2020, I began executing full tattoo projects.
What moment marked a turning point in your career?
The outbreak of war was a defining moment. My city was occupied, and I had to leave the country and rebuild everything from zero — at a very early stage of my career. That experience profoundly shaped my mindset and strengthened my responsibility toward my work.
How would you describe your style in your own words?
I don’t confine myself to strict stylistic boundaries. I adapt various subjects to a graphic approach, often working with dots and focusing on cleanliness and precision. Clients often describe my work as having “velvety dots,” which I consider a meaningful compliment.
What makes your work recognizable?
Strong control, clear contrast, and precise dot application define my visual language. I aim for sharpness, balance, and graphic clarity in every piece.
Which themes do you enjoy exploring most?
I’m particularly drawn to Japanese themes and to combining characters, animals, or objects with cyberpunk elements — wires, mechanisms, and technical details. These subjects allow me to explore structure, depth, and intricate detailing.
What is your process for designing a custom tattoo?
Every project begins with a consultation where we discuss the idea, placement, and key details. Only after understanding the concept clearly do I move into the final design stage.
What technical aspects do you focus on most?
Contrast, readability, overall cleanliness, and precise execution are my priorities. Longevity and clarity over time are essential.
Are there specific tools or techniques you prefer?
I prefer relatively hard-hitting machines, which allow me to create clean, sharp dots at low voltage while maintaining consistency and control throughout the tattoo.
How do you build trust with clients?
Trust begins before the first appointment. Through social media, I share my workflow and present myself honestly. Clients can see who I am as a person, which helps establish comfort and alignment before we work together.
What advice would you give to someone getting tattooed for the first time?
Don’t rush. Avoid spontaneous decisions. Take time to reflect, define your idea clearly, and ensure the tattoo truly aligns with you.
What should clients understand better before starting a project?
That thoughtful preparation and clarity of concept lead to stronger results. A tattoo is permanent — it deserves time and intention.
What are your goals for the next 12–24 months?
My focus is steady growth and continuous development. I aim to refine my craft while staying honest with myself and my artistic identity.
What do you want your work to represent long term?
I want my work to stand for consistency, discipline, and graphic precision — tattoos that remain strong, clean, and timeless.
