I was always artistic even from early on in school. I was always drawing something with a pencil instead of doing my school work. I probably should have went on to art school but it was not what I wanted to do at that time. I finally sought out an apprenticeship at a local shop in my area. I did that for about a year and then continued tattooing there for a while. I took on another career for a while but returned to tattooing full time and continued learning from other artists and attending conventions and seminars to learn what I could to become the best artist I could for my clients. Now I own my own shop in Indiana in the United States.
I have been tattooing for about 17 years now. I am mostly a realism artist but do many other styles as well. I attend several invitational tattoo expos each year. I have been published or invited to a few different magazines. I have been sponsored or invited to several pro teams and enjoy representing these companies. I truly enjoy the networking with other artists and vendors at all of the conventions… definitely my favorite part of those. I always strive to continue my tattoo education by trying to learn new techniques and skills every day.
