David Mendoza is a tattoo artist originally from Margarita Island, Venezuela. His journey began in late 2009 as a self-taught artist, driven by a deep need for expression and a search for meaning. Throughout his career, he has lived and worked in cities such as Paris, Oslo, Panama City, Santiago de Chile, Barcelona, and Zurich—experiences that have enriched his technique and artistic vision. Based in Madrid since 2018, he began formal academic studies in 2020, integrating technical tools into his creative evolution. His style is defined by precision, symbolism, and emotional connection with each story he tattoos. Through his approach, which he calls Conscious Art, he transforms the skin into a canvas filled with purpose, spirituality, and profound beauty.
