Tattooist Sodam is a Korean tattoo artist from Seoul, South Korea, who began tattooing in 2006.His journey started with a childhood passion for Japanese manga, which led him to study visual design in college, exploring 3D animation and motion graphics.However, after discovering tattoo culture, he fell in love with the art form. Initially working in bold styles like black and grey,traditional, and irezumi, he later embraced delicate and colorful illustrations inspired by pets, flowers, and nature.A self-taught tattooist, Sodam views his work as storytelling through skin, often helping clients heal emotionally by covering self-harm scars.He is now based in San Francisco, continuing to refine his soft, poetic style while traveling internationally for guest work and conventions.

I started tattooing in Korea in 2006 and ran a private studio Currently, I came to the United States and am staying as a resident artist at the black serum studio in San Francisco.I enjoy various styles of tattoos.Talk with customers and create new designs.However, I mainly make microrealism and fineline works.
